Direct Bank-to-Bank Payment Processing
Why ACH Works for Your Business
Low-Cost Processing
ACH carries the lowest fees of any electronic payment method. Unlike card transactions, which route through multiple intermediaries each adding their own markup, ACH moves money directly between banks. For high-volume or recurring billing businesses, the difference in processing costs compounds quickly.
Recurring Billing
Customers authorize once and payments run automatically. No chasing expired cards or outdated payment details.
Enhanced Security
Transfers are encrypted end-to-end between bank accounts. No card data to intercept, no extra intermediaries.
Fast Settlement
Most ACH transactions settle within one to three business days. Same-day ACH is available for eligible merchants.
Wide Acceptance
Any customer with a US checking or savings account can pay via ACH. No special setup required on their end.
Specialty Merchant Approval
Most standard processors restrict ACH for specialty industries. We approve ACH processing for telemedicine, online pharmacies, med spas, CBD, gaming, peptides, and other categories that typically face blanket declines. Your industry classification is not the deciding factor. Your processing history and business model are.

ACH (Automated Clearing House) processing enables direct bank-to-bank transfers without routing through card networks. Payments move between accounts through a federally regulated network that handles trillions of dollars in transactions annually, including direct deposit, bill pay, and B2B payments across the United States.
Unlike card payments, which pass through the card network, the issuing bank, and the acquiring bank before funds reach you, ACH transfers move in fewer steps. That reduced complexity translates directly into lower fees and faster access to your money.
Who Should Use ACH?
ACH is particularly well-suited for businesses with predictable, recurring payment needs. It works best when:
- You collect subscription or membership fees on a regular schedule
- Your average transaction size is large enough that interchange savings matter
- Your customers are businesses rather than consumers
- You operate in a specialty vertical where card network restrictions apply
- You want to reduce chargebacks by collecting payments directly from bank accounts
ACH for Specialty Merchants
Card networks enforce strict rules around which industries can accept card payments, and violations can result in account termination or funds holds. ACH operates under a different regulatory framework, which gives specialty merchants more flexibility.
We approve ACH processing for many industries that standard processors decline outright, including:
- Telemedicine and online pharmacies
- Med spas and wellness clinics
- CBD and hemp products
- Gaming and fantasy sports
- Peptides and weight loss programs
Getting Approved for ACH Processing
Our underwriting team reviews ACH applications with the same thoroughness we apply to card merchant accounts. Most approvals are completed within one to two business days. To prepare your application, have the following ready:
- Business bank statements (three months minimum)
- Government-issued ID for all principals with 25% or more ownership
- Processing history if available, including return and chargeback rates
- Business registration documents and EIN
Once approved, your dedicated account manager will help you structure billing intervals and authorization language to minimize ACH returns, which is the primary risk factor for ACH accounts in specialty categories.
