Cookie Policy
Background
Corepay understands that your privacy matters, and that you care about how cookies and similar technologies are used when you visit our website. This policy explains what cookies we set on corepay.net, why we set them, and how you can control them. We use cookies in a way that is consistent with our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive (the “Cookie Law”), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Definitions and Interpretation
In this policy the following terms have the following meanings:
- “Cookie” means a small text file placed on your computer or device by our website when you visit it. We use the word “cookie” in this policy to cover cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage, which we use to remember your cookie choice.
- “Our site” or “the site” means the website at corepay.net and its subdomains.
- “You” means the individual visiting our site.
- “Strictly necessary” means a cookie that is required for our site to function correctly. We do not need your consent to set strictly necessary cookies, but we list them here so that you know they exist.
- “Consent” means the choice you make in our cookie banner. Your choice is recorded in your browser’s local storage under the key
cp-consentwith a value of eithergrantedordenied.
What does this policy cover?
This policy applies only to your use of corepay.net. Our site may contain links to other sites that we do not control. We have no control over how your data is collected, stored, or used by other sites, and we encourage you to read the cookie and privacy policies of any third-party site before providing data to it.
This policy does not cover cookies that may be set on the back-office portals that Corepay merchants log in to from their payment processor. Those portals are operated by our acquiring partners and are governed by their own policies.
How do we use cookies?
We use a small, deliberate set of cookies. Our cookie banner appears on your first visit and gives you a clear choice between Accept and Decline. Until you choose Accept, we do not set any analytics or marketing cookies, and we do not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. The categories below describe what each cookie does and whether it depends on your consent.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the operation of our site. They are set whether or not you accept the banner, because the site cannot work properly without them. You can block them in your browser settings, but parts of the site may then fail or behave unexpectedly.

|---|---|---|---|

corepay.net (browser local storage) | Records your choice from the cookie banner so that we do not show the banner to you again. Stored in browser local storage, not as a cookie. Removing it via your browser’s site-data controls will cause the banner to reappear. | Until you clear your browser’s site data |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | Cloudflare bot-management cookie used to distinguish between humans and automated bots. This helps us protect the site against credential stuffing, scraping, and other abuse. | 30 minutes |
Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use our site so that we can improve it. They are loaded only after you click Accept in our cookie banner. If you click Decline, or if you have not yet made a choice, none of the cookies in this section are set and the underlying scripts are not loaded.
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, both provided by Google. You can read more about how Google processes data in the Google Privacy Policy, and you can install the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on if you wish to block Google Analytics across every site you visit.

Marketing and advertising cookies
We do not currently run advertising or remarketing campaigns from our site, and we do not embed social-media widgets that drop cookies (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, or X / Twitter follow buttons). If we add marketing tags in the future, we will update this policy and the cookie banner before they are loaded for visitors who have already accepted analytics-only cookies.
Controlling cookies
You have several ways to control the cookies that we and third parties set on your device.
- The Corepay cookie banner. Click Accept to allow analytics, or Decline to use the site without analytics. To change your choice later, clear your browser’s site data for corepay.net. The banner will reappear on your next visit and you can choose again.
- Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, either site-by-site or for all sites. Look for “Privacy,” “Cookies,” or “Site data” in your browser’s settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the site from working properly.
- Google Analytics opt-out. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to block Google Analytics on every site you visit.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our site does not currently change its behavior based on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. We rely instead on the explicit choice you make in our cookie banner, which we believe gives you clearer control.

Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, if we begin using a new analytics or marketing tool, or if we change our business in a way that affects personal-data protection. When we update the policy we will change the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page. If the change is significant we will also surface a refreshed cookie banner so that you can review your choice.
